Hello! I'm Mirette, the founder and cake decorator behind Cake Couture. I’m a graduate of a college of fine arts, with a focus on stained glass and mural arts, an artistic background that greatly inspires my cake designs.

My journey into cake decorating began in 2012, when I stepped away from a career in Graphic Design to care for my growing family. Baking and decorating cakes quickly became a beloved pastime. I often made cakes for my families birthdays, where I received constant compliments, not just for how beautiful they looked, but for how delicious they tasted too.

Encouraged by friends and family who started asking me to make cakes for their children’s birthdays, I officially launched my home-based cake business.

Over the next eight years, I dedicated myself to mastering the art of cake baking and decorating. My passion eventually led me to open my own shop, Cake Niche, in Lexington, Massachusetts. For five wonderful years, we built a strong community of loyal customers from across the state and beyond, all drawn in by our custom cakes.

After moving to Dallas with my loving family, I decided to return to my roots and run my cake business from home once again. I’m excited to begin this new chapter in the DFW area, and I look forward to creating unforgettable cakes that help make your special moments even sweeter.
